Our dogs and other animals

At Ninada Jala and GlenMyu Estate, animals are part of daily life. They bring warmth, companionship, and joy to every guest stay.

We have several rescue dogs at the estate. All are vaccinated, friendly, and used to meeting guests. Our vet visits annually to provide vaccinations.

Clove, our first dog, loves guests and makes a connection with most visitors. Other dogs include Roti, Patch, Perky, Laamiaa, and Mo Mo. Puppies are often raised here before finding new homes.

If you are nervous of dogs, then Ninada Jala and GlenMyu Estate may not be the right choice for you. For many guests, our dogs add value to their visit. They are a substitute for animals you may miss from home during your holiday.

We also have ducks roaming freely around the estate. They lay eggs in different places, making them difficult to find. Chickens are also part of our family. Some are rescued from the market, and all are free range. Their eggs are served at breakfast and are delicious.

Guests will also encounter many other animals and birds. Nature thrives here, and you may forage from the estate during your stay.

We are planning to start a dog sanctuary nearby. This project will be supported by neighbours and other dog lovers.
